WordFast Classic and WordFast Pro
The aim of this course is to get translators started with WordFast Classic and Pro. The course gives an overview of the main concepts behind this CAT tool and of its main functions. It is suitable for all translators who either already use a CAT tool and wish to switch to WordFast Classic or Pro or for those who are thinking or have already WordFastClassic or Pro and find it difficult to use. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:
Understanding the whole WordFast Classic and Pro project workflow;
Creating a project adding reference material;
Creating a dictionary and adding it to a project;
Working efficiently in the WordFast Classic and Pro environments;
Performing all due controls on the files;
Managing the translation memory;
Importing other CAT tools translation memories / exporting TMX.
