Voice-overs and studio recording

Voice-over is used for localising videos or recorded audio messages into another language. For videos, voice-over is an alternative to dubbing. It is usually employed for commercial advertising, corporate videos, training material, and announcements.

Voice-over artists have usually received professional voice-training in order to improve their diction, pronunciation (unless a dialect is required), and elocution in their own language (such as Received Pronunciation or BBC English in English). The reason for this is that the accent of the narrator/voice-over artist, in most cases, is required to be as neutral as possible.

For each language, it is possible to choose between male and female voice-over artists, their age range, their pitch (hard or soft), their tone of voice (humorous, authoritative, cultured, sincere, sarcastic) in order to meet your requirements.

Voice-over recording usually takes place in professional digital recording studios where sound engineers and technicians are at hand to assist the voice-over artist. Alternatively, the recording can be done at the client's premises with professional recording equipment.
