What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is an official certificate issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) that legalises a UK document for use abroad. It confirms that the signature, seal or stamp on the document is genuine.
Apostilles are used in countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention.
When do you need an Apostille?
